Engraved Wedding Invitations

Engraving presses ink from an etched metal plate onto paper, creating a raised image on the front with a bruised impression on the back. Letterpress, by contrast, presses type or imagery into the paper, creating a debossed indent on the front. Both are premium methods, but engraving is traditionally considered the most formal and is associated with black-tie stationery.

Print Icon offers a wide range of paper stocks for engraved invitations, including cotton 120gsm and 245gsm, as well as 80LB Text, 100LB Text, 130LB Cover, and 160LB Cover. Most stocks are fully or partially recycled and FSC-certified, available in White, Bright White, Soft White, Natural White, Gray, Black, and more.

Engraved wedding invitations are available in 4" x 6", 5" x 7", Square 5" x 5", Square 7" x 7", and custom sizes. A range of styles is also offered including flat, folded, pocket fold, gate fold, trifold, and silhouette formats to suit your wedding aesthetic and suite requirements.

Yes. Print Icon offers in-house design services with professional designers who can guide you through the entire creative process. A Design Appointment can be scheduled in advance via email at a rate of $150/hr with a $75 minimum. Walk-in consultations are also welcome at both the New York and New Jersey locations during business hours.
